Richard Este’s work templates are real buildings and artefacts of our time

Again and again he incorporates so-called “iconic” motifs such as internationally known sights or landscapes into his compositions. With unusual perspectives or random reflections, however, Estes creates new pictorial worlds that captivate the viewer’s gaze and invite them to explore. Here and there you can see parts of buildings from New York, especially from Manhattan, or also – since the 1990s from the US East Coast.

Richard Este’s works of art have become “icons” of the art of our time. Internationally, collectors and art lovers find their own viewing habits varied in Richard Este’s pictures and translated into a visual language that can be rediscovered again and again in an absolutely contemporary way.
