GALERIE JEANNE

GALERIE JEANNE was founded in 1982 in the center of Munich, at the back of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, by Jeanne Neumann (1935 – 2023). Since then, up until  1996, over 100 contemporary young to established artists have been shown in numerous exhibitions.

In 1997, art historian Jacqueline T. Hoffman took over the gallery from her mother, Jeanne Neumann, and consistently advanced its curatorial concept.

Since then, GALERIE JEANNE has specialized in international, museum-quality prints and works on paper from the 20th century. A particular focus lies on Classical Modernism, Pop Art, and contemporary art.

In addition to the buying and selling of artworks, the gallery has expanded its services for collectors to include professional management, consultation, and administration of private art collections.

Over the past 44 years, GALERIE JEANNE has established itself as a prominent Munich gallery for international prints and works on paper from the 20th century, as well as for contemporary art. Through its exhibition program, solo shows, and participation in national and international art fairs, the gallery presents outstanding works by significant artists from the realms of Classical Modernism, Pop Art, and contemporary art.
