Lyonel Feininger was a German-American graphic artist, painter and cartoonist

As a member of the Berlin Secession (since 1909), Lyonel Feininger taught as a teacher at the Bauhaus in Weimar (since 1919). Lyonel Feininger is one of the most important artists of classical modernism. His works can be assigned to different styles: expressionism, cubism, modernism, the artist group “Der Blaue Reiter” and also “naive art”.

Lyonel Feininger, whose full name was Charles Adrian Feininger, was born in New York in 1871, where he died in 1956.
